In accordance with license obligations, ASNG is obliged to complete drilling of 27,000 m of exploratory wells by 2006.

On the basis of all exploratory works, i.e. 3D seismics and drilling of appraisal wells, the development plan should be prepared followed by the design and engineering of a production platform for Medyn oilfield. The construction of the platform should commence in year 2006 and first production of crude is expected in 2009-2010. The other structures should be developed subsequently in the later years.
